I would like to acknowledge Marci McKinney today for sending this passage to me via Private Message about a week ago--its been over 20+ years since Marci and I have talked with one another let alone seen each other. I can honestly say that I knew Marci in HS and even had classes together during the course of HS, but I can also say that we didnt have the kind of bond as we do now. It might just be me Marci, but when you sent me this--it really echoed what Ive been feeling about the very people right next to me here. While living here, Ive learned that its place where its as easy to lose friends here as quickly as you meet them. As much as I commend the progress of technology, in the beginning, I also didnt like how it changed the way we communicated with one another--communicate, not talk. Theres a difference. Today, especially, I realized just how true this quote is. Its interesting how I have been able to talk with friends, hundreds, even thousands of miles away and how much our conversation meant, compared to those I am surrounded by. Despite the time and distance that have separated us, Marci, I want you to know how you have made me feel better when you sent this to me over a week ago but most especially, today. I ask you, my friends, to share this with someone who have made your day, a little better. Thank you Marci:) I also share this with Rory Bonafe, Tosca Elaina King. and to Tim Caviezel, who called me Friday to let me know he was in NYC and wanted to know if we could meet up--sorry Tim, that I wasnt able to join you, next time:) I can tag so many more people--you know who you are--dont think Ive not appreciated what youve done for me too)
