I would like to bring up the genre DJENT. Bands like Meshuggah, Animals As Leaders, TesseracT, After The Burial, Periphery, SikTh, Circle of Contempt, Bulb, Born of Osiris, Veil Of Maya, etc., etc.... My question is, What are your opinions of Djent? I, personally, like SOME djent style metal tracks... when its done well... but like a lot of genres, is it being over done? Is it just a phase? Or is this the new main stream of metal? Let me know if you like it or not. If you DONT, tell me why and give examples. If you DO, show me some good examples as well. Discuss. :)
