I would like to encourage you come this Christmas you want to do something special give your time at the nursing homes, there are many things you could do push wheelchairs to different areas of the building, paint finger nails give pedicures and manicures, fix hair,tell stories, make crafts some of which they have already on hand, play games like Bingo with them or just have a talk session about world events with them. The possibilities are endless, and in giving of yourself and your time you give a gift worth more than any amount of Money. Alot of times these are forgotten people; people put them in there and just wait for them to die yes this sounds cruel and not all family members are like this but believe me there are those who could tell you some stories that no one cares for them in there.
