I would like to introduce International China Concern (ICC, chinaconcern.org) to you all. ICC is a Christian development agency, founded in 1993, that works in China providing full-time care for children that have been abandoned because they have disabilities. ICC believes that every child is previous and valuable, and all children should fulfill their full potential as every healthy person should be entitled to. Disability has robed many children in China from achieving their full potential. ICC strives to provide them with the opportunities and resources so that they can have the equal chance to live. In addition to rescuing abandoned disabled children, ICC also provided food, shelter, schooling, medical treatment as well as providing training to China’s carers of disabled children. On 11th October, 2014, ICC will be holding a global fundraising event, Walk the Wall, to help these children. It is held across Australia including Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Adelaide, Bundaberg, and Ipswich, as well across the world in the USA, China/Hong Kong, Singapore, Ireland, England and Canada.
