I would like to make a request from all who choose to follow my writing, my work and be part of my journey as I maneuver my way through this world with a pen. I am human. Some days I speak from a place of grace, balance and rationality and some days I spit fire lacking but an ounce of grace. Some days I am an asshole. Some days I will write things that are not neutral. Some days I will write things that are complete crap. Some days I will write things that shake your soul. Some days what I write will tick you off and trigger you. I am right beside you in this world learning, growing, falling and living. If you wish to contribute your voice to mine I welcome you with an open heart and open arms, for your voices make my voice louder and stronger. If you choose to give me feedback I have one request--that you take the time to gently articulate your words in a way that will not only challenge me but create space for me to relate, learn and speak softer in the future. When feedback is spoken gently from a place of support, even if it may be opposing to my original message, I am able to digest it and grow. If you speak too harshly to me about my work it doesnt allow me much space to hear what you are saying. All I feel is angry blows jabbing against my art that I summon bucket loads of vulnerability each day to create, give and share with you. If you cannot do that, please click a button and unfollow me.
