I would like to make a statement here-as I am very angry at the moment--while yes...we have a lot of veteran, seasoned artists in this group--we also have a lot of up and comers. This art FAMILY was started with the idea by both myself and Aidan Kelly, that attitudes are left elsewhere-no one is any better than any one else here! Veterans have just as much to learn sometimes as beginners and if art doesnt come from the heart and learning brought about by teaching as opposed to rude blatant nasty criticism what makes a person afraid to try or step out and show their work--then we as artists have failed miserably! This family was built on love and support, and it is NOT dishonest to encourage some through teaching them vs picking them apart- and not having them want to be here at all! So if you do not like something here--pass it by as the saying goes if you cant say something relatively encouraging--to keep someone trying and growing--then Im sorry- but walk away. I have taught many people and never, and I mean never have I ever ripped anyone to shreds and they have come out just fine-art comes from the heart or it should when it doesnt I dont care how much knowledge you have when you pick up that brush...it wont turn into anything pretty! So...let me restate--this group is about LOVE, SUPPORT, TEACHING, HELPING AND NUTURING-TO EDIFY...NOT DESTROY! And for the most part my wonderful family here is all about that-and I am so very proud! But there are a chosen few who wish to tear that all away and I will not have it--I am just as busy as anybody else-but I will protect what we have created here! There will be no order of talent here, and no bullying! So for any up and comers that are having problems, or need a hand-let me know--I am here for you-we ALL started somewhere--and ALL needed help of some sort-and I understand-And for the rest of my lovely art family here--keep sharing the love please-that is what makes us so different from other groups!
