I would like to say thank you and best wishes for the festive season to everyone that has helped make GSDR the success that it is today. This year has been a particularly difficult year. Huge thanks to the co-ordinators and screeners who are right on the frontline and often face very difficult situations. Same again to the fundraisers who raise vital funds to ensure that we can keep dogs safe until new homes are found and pay those vet bills. Special thanks to my lovely daughter Alice who despite having a full time job, devotes much of her spare time helping me with the dogs in my care. I really could not do this without her - she is an absolute treasure. This year I would also like to thank all my rescue contacts in other European countries where the plight of our four legged friends is very much worse than it is here. Last but not least my partner John who had never had a dog before he met me - bless him!! When good people come together and work as a team, we can do so much more. We have achieved so much this year so raise your glasses and lets celebrate another very successful year. I hope you all have a wonderful relaxing time with friends, family and pooches of course. Saber is already relaxing……………. xx
