I would like to share a Hell Yeah to Mr. Mikes. I have noticed some very positive posts about the Prince George restaurant ... my post is for the entire chain. Today I was notified by Mr. Mikes head office that I am one of the Grand Prize winners in their Deeds Well Done holiday promotion! Im so shocked and honoured by this! I consider myself extremely fortunate to be surrounded by so many good people including Kyle McGhee who nominated me in the first place ... thank you Kyle! Now the part Im most excited about ... the contest allows me to pick a numbered charity to receive $500! There are so many charities in Prince George that do amazing work that it makes it hard to choose just one. I have personally tried to help many of them through my years in Prince George. After asking a few people, I have decided that this money is going to the SPCA. For the holiday season I fostered a little puppy, due to a few circumstances out of anybodys control, the puppy could not go back to the shelter after the holidays. As it turns out, that is just fine by me as the puppy has found a home at my place now. I just want to say again, thank you Mr. Mikes for all you do in our city and the other cities that you do business in. I ask all of my friends and fellow HYPGers to make plans for your next meal out to be at Mr. Mikes.
