I would like to share a little story which begins with Erik and I visiting Paris and staying at Terry Ekasalas sweet abode... Circa 2000 The subject matter is largely music oriented...no surprise there. A melding of hearts in the context of kinship must also inextricably involve at some point, sharing/enjoying/appreciating one anothers music collections..(if you are really into it that is) and whilst we fervently shared MANY common genres, the door for Erik and my angle on Bjork and her genious of composition remained a point of contention. It certainly helped that during that trip to visit a beautiful friend, Erik was exposed to yet another person who rated her highly and got where she was coming from. Sadly I cannot find the original striped down orchestral version of Jóga I played to Possum which absolutely transfixed him! .. And perhaps thats for a reason in itself.
