ALS is a Progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. ALS disease is also known as Lou Gehrigs disease. Things we take for granted like simple movement from the couch, to the bathroom could be a challenge. Broaden your knowledge on the disease and please make a donation. I was first skeptical of this challenge due to watching some of the videos. Its disheartening to see that some cant even pronounce ALS... Your ACL is a joint in your knees people! This is a challenge to promote awareness and I accept this challenge in hopes of not only reaching out intellectually but contributing funding to the cause.
