I would like to thank all my family and friends through the last few days. It has been very stressful and very wearing on both of us. At a time when we should have been excited about our first (and possibly last) European trip, we had undo stress placed upon us. Only a handful of politicians bothered to reply and the answers were so varied that it makes me wonder how this country runs at times. How can politicians, from all sides, vote on legislation, but are then unable to explain how it works. Further to that only one politician Senator Abetz remarked on our adventure to Gallipoli. When they are all stand there, beating their chests, at this next Anzac Day, it will make me question whether anyone of them are genuine. No matter what political side of the fence you stand on, being compassionate when we needed it the most, was the greatest gift that you all could give, be it by leaving a comment on facebook, or giving us a call,. So to all the well wishers, thankyou from Pat and I, without your support and encouragement to keep trying, I think I would have just fallen in a heap. To my older sister Tom Hazel Mcloughlin, who give me a motto to make me laugh, as I am the youngest of six children her remark from Dirty Dancing ....No one puts baby in the corner was what I kept focused on.
