I would like to wish all of my brothers and sisters in arms a Happy Veterans Day. I have attached a video of the burial of SFC Al J. Heath(Ret) that took place yesterday. He served this country with honor and respect. This was a sobering and humbling experience. I use to cut this mans hair at the nursing home in Rosepine and am very honored to be an adopted member of his wonderful family. If this video offends you then please dont watch it. I am posting with the families approval and do so with the respect and humility in me. This brings home the definition of patriotism and as Mr Heaths grandson, Keith Cooley, who is also a veteran, said to me last night, if you have any patriotism in you at all this burial will make your chest swell with pride and bring tears to your eyes. I love this family very very much and am proud to have been a very small part of this mans life. I hope all of my brothers and sisters in arms have a Happy Veterans Day but please remember the ones that paid the ultimate price so that we can enjoy this life. I know Im not the smoothest talker but I hope everyone takes something from this to make them feel proud to be an American and/or Veteran! Happy Veterans Day.
