I would love if you guys could watch this video. Those who know me - TopicsExpress

I would love if you guys could watch this video. Those who know me know that I am not big on politics (not cool, I know. Im working on it), but this is more about being educated than just politics and choosing a side. Also, you should never have one media source for all of your information, most media outlets have personal agendas and are ran by humans who we know can be irrational with clear information, simply because its not always so easy to separate our feelings from the particular matter at hand. I have much more research to do around this subject, but even in doing so one must look at the history and go back as far as possible. The relationship statuses of these countries over the last 5 years is not going to be an adequate amount of research to really understand whats going on now and make the most informed belief or view. Lastly, I would highly suggest to you all what my husband advised me: read a countrys or a nations newspaper that has been translated into English. Once again, you are going to need to trust the source of the translation, but if you pick up an Israeli newspaper, and then a Palestinian newspaper and try to find out the same thing - whats really going on? You may find some discrepancies, this isnt bad, this should just give you a greater hunger to seek out and find the truth. I know here in the states, CNN is our most trusted television source for real time real news, but whats the harm in digging deeper? If there was an issue concerning North America and we were constantly portrayed negatively, we would want others to seek out the truth for themselves, and maybe they would still conclude that were wrong and terrible, maybe they would conclude along with that the the other party or parties involved are not innocent either. In all, be aware of whats happening in your nation, as well as with international affairs, because other countries problems may just seem like their problem, but let me tell you - the world is NOT that big. #rantover #getoutsideofyourbubble #informeddecision #youdonthavetobepoliticaltounderstandpolitics #knowwhatyoubelieve #knowwhyyoubelieveit
