I would personally like to send a huge Shout Out to Volunteers! Volunteers are the back bone of a Community. Whether they have all kinds of time to give or only a couple of hours..Events could not run without the unsung, unpaid heros who give to their community just ..well...Because they can. We sometimes forget the kind of dedication that goes into the orchestration of an event...the months, weeks and days of planning and replanning...the set up, the actual event..and then the tear-down. I am positive that the Pride Weekend, Huck Finn Derby, Big Bass CHallenge,the Rib Fest, Pirate Days, Prohibition Days and now the Lansdowne Fair..to name some..could not function without the hands and smiles of the Volunteer Community of Gananoque, 1000 Islands and TLTI! Bravo to all of You!
