I would welcome any insight into this one... an apparent Olenellus vermontanus that was acquired without accompanying identification label in the late 90s. This was found amid the rubble in the legendary George Lee collection, and anyone who had the honor of wading trough the incredible amount of material that George had in his So Cal warehouse knows that finding amazing, but painfully unidentified specimens was not unusual. Knowing Georges affinity for Lower Cambrian material from both Pioche (NV) and Marble Mountains (CA) would make me think that this might originate from there... but I see no mention of such a bug in Western literature. And the rock doesnt look right for Parker Quarry, VT. Hmmmmmm..... Sorry for the quality of the photo... and thats a quarter lower left, so the bug is about 5 inches in length.
