I wrote a while back about the Ohio State Patrol setting up a vehicle safety check and refusing to allow me to employ my emergency brake and then gave me a safety warning for a emergency brake fail...when in fact the emergency brake worked perfectly and they used intimidation to instill fear in the community. I immediately went to the Williams County Sheriffs Department and reported the actions and was notified that they had set this up without communicating with the Sheriffs Department and these officers in Uniform were in fact Govt Contract workers and not presently employed by the Ohio State Patrol while they may have been retired officers none the less this is the sad state of affairs that is going on across the USA. What is so funny is that a similar stop to the one in the Video was being staged on US 6 just south of Bryan, Ohio and I thought there was a horrific accident so I took a county road to avoid the area and an officer sped up like crazy and rode my bumper all the way to Wal-Mart in Bryan, Ohio for about 2-3 miles and only when I turned into Sonic for my Happy Hour Shake did the disappointed officer get off of my tail. I told the Williams County Sheriff that we as Pastors try to instill respect for the officers of the Law and we hold them in high esteem and pray for them but this is making it dificult to continue as this is Police State type of activity and an unnecessary burden on the community needing to get to work and other activities and this is so out of order.
