I wrote this 8 years ago, still waiting for a British champion! Well ... maybe this year Andy will triumph! Well ... MAYBE NEXT YEAR…. (Wimbledon 2005) Wimbledon is here again, Our British hopes are high. Greg Rusedski had a chance, But let that chance slip by. Well ... maybe next year…. Then it was Tim Henman’s turn, Once again our hopes were dashed. He made it to the second round, Then once again he crashed. Well ... maybe next year…. Along comes young Andrew Murray, Our bright new shining star. Bravely he battled through the pain, But he went two sets too far. Well ... maybe next year…. There was another, what was his name? He disappeared without a trace. No champ again for us this year, We are well out of the race. Well ... maybe next year….
