I wrote this as a comment on someone elses status, but I decided it deserved its own post. Sometimes, suicide is actually about the other people. Sometimes you can feel so worthless that it seems that everyone else would be better off without you. Sometimes you know, you KNOW, that you are such a bad person inside that no matter how much you try to make people happy and be what youre supposed to be and act how youre supposed to act, youre really just a burden on everyone you know. Those are the times when you want to do everyone a favor and quit being a bother. You think about how it would be better for everyone if you just didnt wake up. Hopefully, when you get to that point, the phrase never wake up sets off alarm bells in your head, like it did for me, and you talk to someone, anyone, and keep trying until you get help. Even if its a hotline, those people will help you. They sit awake all night because they care enough about people theyve never met to want to help them. And one more thing to remember, if you feel like you dont want to bother anyone with your problems: You know that happy warm fuzzy feeling you get when someone asks you for help and you can fix their problem and make it all better? IF YOU DONT ASK FOR HELP, YOU ARE DENYING SOMEONE ELSE THE CHANCE FOR THAT FEELING! Let them help. You never know who may have been through the exact same thing. Wow, that turned into much more than I meant to say. Its true, though.
