I wrote this three weeks ago and I do repeat it today..Call me what you like..Saba Saba should also have a military wing to encounter military threats from the govt. The deployment of GSU officers in their tens of thousands during saba saba day was not meant only to provide for security but also to intimidate and threaten CORD and it s supporters. Do not fool yourselves to think that it was all about security provision..Why can t they be taken to Kenya s war ravaged areas like Mpeketoni, Turkana, Garisa etc?? Uhuru was simply showing off militarily. On the call for a million signatures for a referendum, It doesn t satisfy my understanding of a peoples revolution..(It may only do so if the process doesn t lead to a corruptible structural referendum). I think this approach is way too lenient for any mafian government. If they bribed their way to power, they can still do the same to a referendum results regardless of whether the referee is IEBC or a new body. The mentality of Kenyans are corruptible, excuse my french. Let s take the points that CORD and the civil society laid down and give Mr. Kenyatta two months to either adopt them or face an armed, well organized Peoples revolution. Thereafter, we can hire Non-aligned international experts (or body) to oversee a fresh Presidential elections. No more! No less.
