IACG Hot Date Nights have no equal. Example: Our evening will begin over a table of the finest Italian fare available from Mazzaros. Staff and guests will break bread together until the demo, a switched axis encalmo. Which we will draw a name and give away. (the tall Blue/white piece with curvy neck. The piece with a wide opening and legs was given away last month.) Just after everyone comes in the studio to make work. Each couple makes a hotglass piece; bowl, vase, lampshade etc. Everyone gets to make several beads, or small sculpture, on the torches. All the while being coached by our talented, and very friendly, staff. Everyone goes away from these events with a glow. We have 2 people coming back from last month. Our Treasurer, Kris Atkinson, and his lovely wife Angie are coming. If you do the math, all this for $12.50 an hour, per person. And you get to meet Shop Kitty. Bonus.
