IAPSS Study Trip to the #UnitedStates 2014: #Impressions After two intensive weeks (August 10th - 22nd) of program, IAPSS study trip to the United States in 2014 got to an end just yesterday. 30 students of #politicalscience and related disciplines, led by IAPSS President Philipp Aepler, explored the theme The State of the #TransatlanticUnion throughout more than 30 political and cultural appointments. From the US Department of State to the EU Delegation at the UN, from CSIS to the Council on Foreign Relations (CfR), and from the University of Virginia to the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA), to just name a few - the program featured a varied blend of the political and cultural arena in both #Washington, DC and #NewYorkCity. With two side trips to Annapolis (Maryland) and Shenandoah National Park (Virginia), the group got a glimpse of what rural America is about. The next IAPSS Study Trip to the United States will take place in late summer 2015. A Call for Applications will be launched by the beginning of 2015. Stay tuned!
