IBA initially Offered Rs.15600/- as the Basic Pay for entry level - TopicsExpress

IBA initially Offered Rs.15600/- as the Basic Pay for entry level Officers in Scale I, durig the discussion for the previous wage settlement– This amount is equivalent to the Pay Commission Scales in Central Government Service. Had we achieved this Rs.15600/- during the last wage revision exercise for Officers, with the present merger and additional loading , the Basic Pay for entry level Officers in scale I especially our younsters would have become at least Rs 27000/- ?? Whereas, Basic Pay of Rs.14500/- only was accepted in the last Joint note for Officers in 2010. The offer from IBA was put down and why it was reduced to Rs.14500/-. Who is responsible for this? . Why it was reduced ? Was it to accommodate one more stagnation increment for Seniors ? Was it used to provide additional salary to Officers in Scale IV and above?. Dear Youngsters, Please ask this question to the leaders of officers movement who are responsible for this. With greetings
