I crave it seriously because I do not intend to create any apprehension in unveiling the contextual meaning. The word above Ibi Ori Damisi simply means the place it pleased the Almighty to locate me I was born in a village called Alla in the present Isin local Government. As I write Alla still reels in self pity of history with no good road or desirable utilities. The fate of that community today in terms of government presence is better left undiscussed on this page. I have questioned my lots in destiny but my resolve to undo the evil and enslavement of my creative location is premised on the continental references. What would have happened to the people in the polar region if they had declined from influencing their natural environmental judgement of their heritage. Minus zero point degree in temperature and a clandestine temperate environment is not a place for the indolent. The finis are doing fine in the artic region while the Eskimos are abreast of their environmental heritage. Why was I from Oro Ago?, one of the largest wards demarcation in Nigeria, why was I from Ifelodun?, the largest local governments in sub sahara Africa? Why was I from Kwara? An heterogeneous heritage bequeathed me by Divinity with her own peculiar situation and challenges. A state that the political undertone behind the northern Nigeria conspiracies have raped to a fault. A state that has been shortchanged in all folds. A state that the 19th northern states have always treated with hate and scorns yet include it as a member of the 19th northern states only for its numerical advantages. Why was Kainji Dam removed from Kwara by Babangidas administration even though the Shiroro Dam conveniently situated itself in native Niger? They contiually and conveniently pursue political goal and agenda that continue to decimate the intellectual value of Kwara, yet years have been spent without an acknowledgible voice of a patriotic Kwaran. The Kwara resources treasure was centrally impressive that draconian decree were promulgated to denied us of Kainji elecrical value, little wonder Niger now refers to itself as power state, a mockery of idealistic reality. Why was Kwara allocated mere 6 House of Representatives by the Abdulsalam/ Abatcha transitional constituition while Jigawa was allocated 11 House of Representatives. Is Jigawa more populous than Kwara? A year ago, one of the columnist in the Daily Punch Newspapers wrote a comprehensive essay on Akwa Ibom State and captured it thus Where is my Village? The content of that essay applauded what Governor Godswill Akpabio has done. His giantsride in project initiation and implementation. How the Governor infrastuctural development led to the almost unidentification of his Village with Bridges, Flyovers, Lightening among others. The Akwa Ibom leadership under Akpabio lighten the man behind my spirit when I flippped through the catalogue of his contributions and projects. The 2014 9999 Chorister Programme pushed me to tears. Seeing great men of God, praising my Lord God. The spirit of the season , the gratitude of the people, the serenity of the state, the aura of self worth, the lighting of freedom, the laughter and dance of yesterdays slaves and the presence of Almighty in Akwa Ibom. I saw tears streaming down my cheek watching Rev. Jesse Jackson on the pulpits. It reminded me of his emotional tears when he lives to see a black President in Ametica. I cry because I was pushed to do a personal appraisal on my birth, a choice without my aiding stamp. A choice outside the Stamp of my American biological father. A birth of locational challenge and absence of reachable cognitive reality by parading engagers. I was a product of two teachers born to a State of enormous potentials but limited in all front by scandalously fraudeulent leadership. Leaders that are without morality and conscience. Leaders who do not love their followers. Leaders who impresses themselve to advance us a journey into North Korea reality. Leaders who reels themselves in the illusion that they were born with four testicles.If looting and fraudulent history is what has qualified them to be so adorned and revered, then its not worth it. If there is any torchlight I sought its ray in Kwara State, it is the ray of freedom. I care only about the delivery of right to self determinism. We must as a people move fast to rekindle the hope of free Kwara. A Kwara without unsolicited political offender with hideous political agenda. A free Kwara where there is no territorial principality but adherence of constituitional will. We must eshewed complacency and resolve to rise to abort the aspiration of every killers of hope. To live under the shadow of any man is dangerously tantamount to allowing neighbours sleeps in the threshold of the heritage of our fathers. No sane man will be truthfully alive and well and allowed invaders steals his ancentral home treasury. Every unconstitutional leaders are marauders, we must stop them. It is too dangerous to look the other way. This is where Ibi- Ori - Damisi. We must sanitize it.
