IC Members News Update - 12/09/2014 -Yesterday was IC Radio Star day. Todays post is pretty much going to cover everything interesting that was posted but we didnt get to cover yesterday (Excluding stuff from the shows itself) -We ran some rough live translations of a bunch of the shows yesterday. We have some rough notes on most of the shows. The only ones that are really missing are Hyung Don and Haha. Theses will be filled out later next week. This is a short corner where the DJ Tablo writes and reads a short personal message to end the day. Jae Suks note from his show was a tribute to Ladies Code. The children who were beautiful like flowers, Have fluttered away like petals, right as they were blossoming like flowers. You will lose them if you let go. They will be forgotten if you stop remembering them. Jae Suks Note for September 11 2014 - The song played afterwards was Ladies Code Im Fine Thank You https://twitter/blonotebyblo/status/510134769938481152 -The head of MBC Radio, Kim Do In gave an interview after the days schedule He said he had fun listening to the members on the shows. He states that There was a lot of stories that said although they dont usually listen to the radio, they started listening to the radio once again thanks to IC and are finding it very enjoyable. Overall, we got a lot of messages saying it was enjoyable. We gained two results from this, 1st is that the young listeners, who have stopped listening to radio, have once again started to listen to the radio. The 2nd was that the IC members attitudes regarding the shows have given us fresh motivation. As for how this special arose, he states that We (The radio team) werent the ones that proposed this first, instead we got a call from the IC team. We said we would definitely be happy to do this. In some ways, we were a bit sorry towards the original DJs however we believed we could learn and gain a lot through this opportunity. We cooperated with them (IC) as much as possible and welcomed them. Head Kim also states that he was shocked by the members as they were preparing for the special. I realised that they didnt become stars out of nothing. Especially while working with Kim Tae Ho PD, I realised that IC really is an amazing program. They are a program within the same broadcasting company but their attitude towards the program is truly professional. It really was a great motivator for us. He was especially impressed by Jung Hyung Don. He was extremely interesting on TV but when he appeared as a guest on radio, he wasnt that interesting as a guest, likely due to nervousness. However he was the DJ for Music Camp. Its true that we worried about whether he could do it properly. However he would come around constantly and study what was happening while also practising how to speak like a DJ. Seeing Jung Hyung Don operating the radio consoles made me think of him in a different light. It wouldnt have been easy to operate the consoles (As well as being a DJ) but he was really good. I also liked how he sincerely he did this. Even though there was an accident on air, it was only a minor thing. Whats important on radio, is not whether youre a great speaker or not, but your attitude and your demeanour. At the very least, Jung Hyung Dons attitude was most impressive. The speed, timing and accent in his speech and the way he adjusted his tone was also impressive. I realised through Jung Hyung Don that nothing was impossible if you worked hard at it. I really learned a lot. As for who captivated him the most, he picked Jung Jun Ha. Ive seen for a long time and hes quite a warm hearted person. Radio has to have this nostalgic emotion to it and in that regard, JJH was perfect for it. JJH has a modest voice and he is always unwavering. Radio isnt something you do briefly, you slowly get to know the person over a long period of time and I want to rate JJH highly on that regard because he is always the same He was also asked if he would ask Jae Suk to be a DJ. Head Kim says no. Everyone in the country knows how busy YJS is. From our perspective, rather then just have someone famous come to us, we rather have some that truly loves radio to join us. There is no question as to whether YJS can do well on radio. He probably could do well if he did it briefly but I think it will be difficult for him to do this for an extended period of time. Jung Hyung Don did really well, he even adjusted the consoles himself. He worked very hard as well. Im sincerely thankful. And Haha...I was left in awe after listening to him. He really is a genius at radio. His body may be small but he is large at least on radio. I would like reiterate the fact that my husband is a really impressive person. Hes an impressive father. I cant always be lovey-dovey so I bad mouthed him ever so slightly hehe. During todays show, she mentions that Yesterdays airing with Hong Chul as the DJ was really funny but it was a bit melancholy and awkward without me, Park Kyung Lim She also jokingly said I read all the messages that arrived yesterday (On air), but none of them were about me. She then mentions that Actually, just before todays airing NHC sent me a message. Hong Chul said, I dont know if todays airing is live. It probably will have to be live. Ive completely trashed all the stuff youve built up over a long period of time. Hope you recover it all...I cant hide my feelings of thanks and apologizes. She also said that Hong Chul is really warm hearted guy. Im really happy and thankful that a lot of people that dont usually listen to the radio tuned in thanks to yesterday.
