IDC in 90mins, over 2 weeks:FFA The 2014 Courts Inter District Championship (IDC) will be played in 90 minutes and over two weekends, Fiji Football President Rajesh Patel confirms. The decision was made at the Board of Council meeting at the Fiji FA headquarters in Suva this afternoon. Patel said it could be played at different venues given it would be played over two weekends. “This will be clarified once we have decided on the fixtures,” he said. Earlier today, pools for this year’s edition was drawn in Samabula, with reigning champion Ba drawn with Battle Of Giants champs Rewa, Lautoka and Nadroga. Host Suva head Group A with Labasa, Fiji FACT champions Nadi and Navua. Meanwhile, newly promoted Tailevu Naitasiri wait on for the final matches of the National Football League next weekend to find out the bottom-placed Super Premier district. Tailevu Naitasiri will subsequently replace the bottom-placed team in the IDC Super Premier pool make-up. Navua, Nadroga and Lautoka are the three teams in danger of relegation. Super Premier: Group A - Suva, Labasa, Nadi, Navua Group B - Ba, Lautoka, Rewa, Nadroga Premier: Group A - Nadogo, Savusavu, Rakiraki Group B - Bua, Taveuni, Tavua Group C - Dreketi, Northland Tailevu, Tailevu Naitasiri (await final NFL games), Lami Group D - Seaqaqa, Vatukoula, Nasinu.
