IF ANYONE IS TRAVELING TO ST.PETERSBURG, be leary of The Budget Inn in Pinellas Park. I made a ground floor reservation with the room close by my bike. Upon arrival they tried to give me a room middle upstairs. Finally I got one where it was supposed to be and I had to clean the mold and scum out of the shower and off the bathroom floor. They don’t have hair dryers and told me hotels don’t provide them. The Continental breakfast was stale cereal and bread. Upon checking out they attempted to surcharge me $55.00 in addition to my agreed upon amount because the room had a micro fridge in it. They provided a written receipt corrected however charged my card with the added amount. It took me weeks to get it adjusted. They kept telling me that the correction wasn’t authorized. I would recommend anyplace in the area other then The Budget Inn in Pinellas Park.
