Miss Darling, your hit rate is incredibly high! But the golden rule is to keep EVERYTHING! One doesnt, but thats supposed to be the rule. Ones view changes as does ones style. Every time one makes a mistake, or thinks one has, it is experience. Remember this. You have evidently discovered on your own things that other people have to be taught for years in art colleges - like layering paint, and waiting and over-painting etc. You have indisputably achieved some stunning effects in the process. That is a given. You have a gift and must not stop painting. You are developing all the time and that fact shows how strongly the creative juices are flowing. Keep going. But I do strongly urge you to keep looking at other peoples work, do not be afraid of being influenced.
