IF the Tea Party has become hawkish, its leadership had better consider that behind every war the United States government has embroiled America in, since the War for Independence, came about because of the machinations of presidents or other political power brokers that drew America into unneeded conflicts, including the manipulations that created todays Muddled East and Afghan conflicts. The United States military is like a toy that tempts presidents and other power brokers to play with. If the United States didnt have a standing army it wouldnt need justification for its tremendous expense, and if the United States were dependent upon a well regulated militia, rather than a standing army, presidents would have to be responsible to the congress for a declaration of war and the fifty governors permission to call up the militia. The Air Force and Navy should have had a limitation on their operational area to within 200 miles of the United States off shore but not over Mexico or Canada. Even these safeguards may have been insufficient to have prevented WWI. Wilson allowed at least one politically powerful U.S. manufacturing conglomerate, in violation of the Neutrality Act, to illegally supply a belligerent nation, Great Britain, with arms, munitions, and supplies, knowingly inviting attacks by u-boats on American shipping which eventually engulfed American youth in bloody WWI. Perhaps if the British hadnt been in debt to the Morgan industrial empire for $500,000,000, war would not have been declared, and nearly 120,000 Americans wouldnt have been murdered in Europe with the consent of the United States government. If WWI had been avoided by the U.S. it is held by historians that the war would have probably ended with one or the other belligerents suing for peace as Germany tried to do in 1916. But even if Germany had won the war, so what? Americas didnt owe the British anything and the friendliness of the central governments has led to other entanglements and American dead as a result. For instance, Franklin D. Roosevelt wouldnt have needed an excuse to manipulate the Japanese into attacking the U.S. at Pearl Harbor using McCollums eight steps, nor would Eisenhower have bowed to the British request to oust the Iranian prime minister in 1953 which led up to our current bloodbath for American youth and the Arab world that started out with the blowback that destroyed the twin towers in New York City. The destruction of the towers came about in retaliation for the United States governments interventionist foreign policy in the Middle East. The formula of the power brokers is very simple. Intervention by the United States invites blowback which invites more intervention, which invites blowback which invites intervention, ad infinitum until bin Ladens goal is accomplished; the bankruptcy of the United States government, a la, the Soviet Unions invasion of Afghanistan. Let no one be fooled, the might and strength of the U.S. military is oneof the many factors that has allowed the United States to grow to become one of the proudest and freest societies of all time. Thats a crock! These myths have to be buried in the dust bin of history once and for all. The political power brokers of the military-industrial-Wall Street-banking-MSM-complex have broken Americas back with continuous war necessitated by the central governments having a military whose existence depends on intervention to generate blowback. This war-time/national emergency financial drain has had the U.S. in perpetual depression since the Korean War. The scientific advancements we dreamed of achieving by the year 2000 in 1955 didnt come to pass. Nearly all of the research and development money was consumed by the United States war machine. And as for being free; how can anyone assert that Americans are free when they are burdened by the United States with nearly 50% of their national income taxed, the IRS 3,000,000 word tax code, NSA spying, the DEA, the BATFE, the CIA, the Federal Reserve, lack of gold or silver as money, FAA, DHS, FCC, HHS, Obamacare, Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, Michelles lunch program, Common Core, the EPA, OSHA, NAFTA, GATT, indefinite detention and our borders sealed by the TSA at every airport in the USA, and soon the bus stops and train terminals?
