IGP SULEIMAN ABBA AGAIN, MEETS WITH FAMILIES OF MISSING POLICEMEN The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Suleiman Abba CFR, NPM, NPOM, mni, has assured Nigerians that the Force will stand by its personnel at all times, while further pledging the determination of the Force to perform its statutory duties against all odds. The Police Chief stated this on Monday January 5th, 2015, at the Police Mobile Force 50 Base, Kubwa Abuja, when he visited families of Policemen who have been declared missing following the attack by Boko Haram insurgents at the Police Mobile Training College, Gwoza on the 20th August, 2014. IGP Abba, who was represented by the Commissioner of Police in charge of the Police Mobile Force (PMF) CP Ibrahim Idris, said the Force is saddened that its men are missing but however assured that the Nigeria Police Force would continue to perform its statutory duties of safeguarding lives and property in spite of all odds. He gave each of the six (6) families Five hundred thousand Naira (N500,000) and food items with a promise that salaries of the missing policemen will be paid for one year with effect from August 2014 when the sad incident occurred. #NPFalert
