ILLINOIS SOUTHEAST JURISDICTION DEPARTMENT OF MEN As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another. (Proverbs 27:17) Men Ministering To Men Servant of God, This correspondence is in reference to the Annual Illinois Southeast Jurisdiction Men’s Ministry “Summit and Men’s Fellowship Service.,” which will be conducted December 4 – 6, 2013. These services are purposed to unite the family as a whole, with emphasis on the role of each male figure in the home and their role as ordained by God. In this effort to gather as many men as possible – both the saved and unsaved – the churched and unchurched – we are soliciting your help. There was a survey done by the Berna Group wherein they randomly asked people who did not attend church why they did not. According to this survey, the answer given most in response to this question was “nobody invited us.” Based on this answer, and in agreement with what we trust are directions provided by the Holy Spirit, we are exercising a great deal of latitude, as your brethren, by asking you to stand in agreement with us. These services will be held at the East St. Louis Emmanuel Temple COGIC – 1700 Gaty Ave. East St. Louis, Illinois - Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, December 4 – 6, 2013.
