IM AN ACTOR The blood of an artist dwells in my veins. I see things that the usual man doesn’t see. I feel the anxiety and happiness that no ordinary man feels. I am an actor. There’s a wide range of personalities in me. I could be funny, I could be serious. I could be weak, I could be strong. I could be childish, I could be matured. I could be noisy, sleepy, rude, rich, wicked and nerd. I’ve been through various professions. I’ve been an engineer, soldier, professor, doctor, a vendor, a messenger, a, servant, a shepherd, a blacksmith, a writer, a poet, a tradesman, and a kingdom’s most respected cook. I’ve travelled through different places. I’ve been in the rivers, the mountains, the cities, the pyramids of Egypt, temples of China, streets of Verona, forests of Athena, desserts of Sahara and the different kingdoms you heard on the fairy tales – and yes they’re true – at least in my heart! I’m an actor. I’ve learned the art of hiding the real me, and replace my heart with the heart of another person. And I could fill it with joy, with love, with fear, with thoughts of revenge, with hatred, with excitement or with worries. I met strange creatures. I fought with lions. I flew with seagulls. I dealt with vampires, lycans, werewolves, cyclops, zombies and phantoms. I talked with horses, mice, dogs, cats, camels and flying elephants. Curiosity is my relentless trait. I wonder too much. I observe a lot of people. I try to find what they see. I bother to search the scent they smell and I struggle to feel their feelings. And by learning their ways, I grow. I’m an actor. I insist to do what others refused to do – to make dead things alive – to feel what the rocks feel. I believe that every single thing on earth has a soul, it has feelings, it has regrets, it has dreams, it has sorrows, it has longings. And thus, I could play the role of a living stone. Limit for me is non-existent. I can walk, I can run, I can swim, fly, and travel the world in an hour. I am an actor, and I can make you believe that I’m not an actor – because that’s what actors do best!
