IJS If Auburn loses to Alabama and Alabama wins in Atlanta, Auburn is probably headed for the Sugar Bowl to play Central Florida, assuming the Knights win out. * Strangely enough, if the Tigers beat Alabama and lose in the SEC Championship Game, they will be more likely to land in the Capital One Bowl against Michigan State or Wisconsin. * If Auburn wins the SEC championship and Ohio State or Florida State loses a game, Auburn will probably play in the BCS Championship Game against Florida State or Ohio State. * It is virtually certain that neither Auburn nor any other one-loss team will pass Ohio State if the Buckeyes win out. * Just for fun, heres a wild scenario: Auburn beats Alabama and wins the SEC championship. Florida State loses to Florida. Ohio State loses to Michigan. Clemson loses to South Carolina, Baylor loses to Texas. Auburn and Alabama meet in a rematch in the BCS Championship game.
