[IMAGINE] KAI - I GOT JEALOUS, I LIKE YOU You laughed and pushed your friend Minho a bit, he had said something funny about Kibum and you were now giggling uncontrollably. You were a trainee at SMent and were good friends with most of the performers there but especially with Jongin, Kibum and Minho. Jonghyun was also one of the people you were friends with. Today you had sat down with Minho during your short break and he had said something funny to make you laugh and what you didn’t notice was Jongin glancing over at you. He was by the aircon, trying to cool down his body from the dancing he had just done, which you had only watched and he watched you stand up when JaeWon called you over to begin the training. You were a currently a background dancer for BoA and Jae had just taught you the choreography that you were training. You were to perform on SMTOWN live in only three weeks so there was some intense training going on. Jongin watched you as you moved beside Jae in synch to the music and you had an intense stare at your reflection. “She’s quite something. I think she’ll be big” Jongin snapped out of his daze and glanced over at Jonghyun who had walked over to stand beside him by the aircon. “Yeah… She’s worked hard” Jongin mumbled. “Yeah, not only that but she’ll be popular amongst male fans.” Jonghyun said with a smirk just as you flicked your hair and did a body roll. “Just look at her. Admit it; she’s hot” Jonghyun looked over at Jongin who swallowed and sent a discreet glare towards his sunbae and when he looked over at you again the music stopped and you did your ending pose. Out of breath you thanked JaeWon and he told you a bit what to focus on more before walking over to some other people in the room and you walked towards the aircon and almost falling on it before laughing a bit and taking off your sweater, leaving you in your black tank top. “It looked great ____” Jonghyun said and smiled. “Thanks” you said quietly and Jongin gritted his teeth and sighed a bit. “I bet you that you’ll be debuting soon” he continued and you blushed a bit. “I’m not that good, but I can always hope. One day I want to be as good as Jongin” you said and looked over at your friend with a smile and his heart skipped a beat and then he smiled faintly and looked down at the floor. You looked over at the clock on the wall and groaned a bit before leaning against Jongin. “Jonginnie, don’t make me go to vocal lessons…” you whined and he laughed and hugged your side before letting you go. “Go, so that you can debut like me” he said and you sighed before walking over to the couch and took your bag and when you passed them again Jongin fell in step with you. “I’ll walk you there” he said and you raised an eyebrow. “I have been there before you know?” you said and he smiled and stopped beside you at the elevator doors. “I know. But I wanted to go with you” he said and you two entered the empty elevator. When the doors closed he started to tap his foot, something he never did, then he let out a deep sigh. “____, I don’t want to ruin our friendship but… I think that I-I like you.” He said but he wouldn’t look at you. “Like more than a friend” You nodded and shifted on your feet a bit. “I kinda, maybe like you too” you said, not looking at him either but staring at the elevator door like Jongin. “Do-Do you want to go on a date?” he asked and you nodded. “Tomorrow? After practice?” “Sure.” The elevator stopped and you quickly kissed his cheek before the doors opened and then you walked out and glanced back at Jongin who was blushing and Chanyeol and Baekhyun who had joined him asked him if he was okay. cr:exotics-imagine.tumblr/ Eryka Kim
