IMG_2083.JPG Good morning friends. Im sending my last blog on the eve of Bills Fest 2014. Its been a long year for me. Ive spend the better part of the last 6 months preparing for this event. It most likely not go without some bumps. Ive planned as well as I can. I found sponsors and friends to help me with the direction we need to go. Its not over yet. Once we wrap up this portion of 2013 and move forward, BIG decisions will be made. The goal for the weekend? Have fun and meet your Bills family. The core of what this club stands for is still in tact. A family first group! I cant stress enough how you all have contributed to that mantra. The Bills festival is no exception. Make new friends, get closer to the older ones and be a better Bills fanatic. My goal for the club is to take the core of my followers and integrate them with a newer, younger fan base. All I ask is that? You trust my vision and business sense. Its about change and you have to embrace change. Final notes for campers........... The weather conditions are going to be great! Now that does not mean there are not some challenges. The wind at the lake can be a bear to say the least. The cooler temps will be with us in the evening. I expect tonight and tomorrow nights temps to dip into the high 40s. 40s is cold if your not prepared. Bring extra flannels, jackets and blankets to cover the situation that may affect you. Critters Pleasant is pretty good about not having to many to contend with. On that note, bring bug spray just in case or Benedryl. The Water. It is a beautiful spot with few rivals in the state. My plea to all of you? Please be careful when near it. We all want this to be a safe and memorable trip for all the right reasons. and last. Be friendly and helpful to your neighbor. Making a friend can have a security effect on the safety of your camp spot. They will watch over you things while you mingle with us at other camps. Its the buddy system. I guess thats it. My advise to all coming up Saturday. The admissions gate can get backed up and busy. If you come a bit earlier you will avoid sitting in a 20 to 30 minute line. Drive safe and have a designated driver if you plan on swinging with the BIG dogs. Its the midnight hour for me. I hope all I have touched turns to GOLD. See you soon. John A. McCartney Go Wild
