IMHO: Are we *seriously* surprised that the ACA websites are crashing? Other than Facebook, which evolves over time to accommodate actual usage, has there ever been a website or system of websites with as many users? If anything, the fact that the websites cannot support the usage is yet another symptom of the horrific problem of inadequate healthcare for Americans. Don’t we all see that? There are *so* many uninsured Americans that the websites cannot support the traffic. Of course ideally the websites would have been tested and tested and tested, but is there even a way to test for the weight of millions of users? Another interesting point (to me) is how many people (I’m one of them) have logged on to see what we could get EVEN THOUGH WE ALREADY HAVE INSURANCE THROUGH OUR EMPLOYER. I’ve talked with other co-workers who have done the same thing, just out of plain old fashioned curiosity. I’m sorry I did. I contributed to the problem. Anyway, I’ll stop with this topic, this status has gone on long enough… you see what I’m saying, if you’re reasonable.
