IMPEACHMENT SPRING AND THE PASSOVER! I believe most of us have not forgotten the (in)famous Arab Spring, which swept across most Arab nations in the last two years and consumed quite a good number of leaders of these Arab Nations, including Col. Mamman Ghadaffi of Libya. Our own spring comes in form of impeachment. It is the impeachment spring. Any state it visits, the governor and all his appointees fall like a pack of cards. It had visited Adamawa State and Nyakos regime is now history. The impeachment spring is in Nasarawa State and, as it is with the spring, Governor Amakura and the members of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly are already engaged in a macabre dance. At the end of this dance, Amakura must go because the spring cannot leave for another state without a casualty. It is believed that after Nasarawa, the impeachment spring will head down south. Its port of call may be Rivers State where it hopes to sweep Amaechi and his appointees aside with their own broom. After the Rivers sweeping, Impeachment spring moves to Edo State to confront Adams, the Comrade governor, who handsomely rewards widows after telling them to go and die. After dealing a mortal blow on Comrade Adams, impeachment spring will move up North again with destination as Kano State where Governor Kwankwaso bestrides the political landscape like a mythical King, ruling over a thousand thrones. But Kwankwaso must kotow because this impeachment spring is no respecter of persons. After demystifying Kwankwaso to the amazement of the Kano mafia, the impeachment spring will visit Borno State, the notorious operational headquarters of the dreaded Boko Haram where Governor Shettima shouts shai all day long because of serial massacres. After dealing with Shettima like others before him, the impeachment spring goes to Yobe State, another Boko Haram State where the quiet Ibrahim Geidam had long resigned himself to destiny. He will fall and no grass will suffer because impeachment spring spares no governor. It is better it doesnt visit your state at all because if it does, the aftermath is better imagined than experienced. But a keen observer may ask: why is the impeachment spring visiting only APC States? The answer is simple! It is the passover. Any state where the blood is sprinkled, the impeachment spring passess over. It happened in Egypt in the days of Moses. It is happening in Nigeria today.
