IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Apparatus has been rockin’ the local music scene for 10 years. Hard to believe it’s already been a decade! Over the years, we’ve written dozens of original tracks and released two full-length albums: Risen (2007) and Evolution (2012). We’re proud to be an independent, all-original band from Sudbury, Ontario. Though we’ve never toured outside of Ontario, we’ve had the pleasure and honour to perform at popular venues in the GTA and Eastern Ontario, as well as open for a few renowned artists. Thanks to our online presence, our fans reach extends from all areas of Canada to cities across the US, the UK, Indonesia, Mexico, Brazil, Germany, Ireland and Australia, to name a few. We’ve heard on music played on Internet radio, received great reviews from industry folk and even signed a few autographs along the way. So, we didn’t make it “big.” That’s OK. The point is we did it. We created something. Those who embraced our creation, understood our message and were moved by our passion and music, made this journey incredible. Ultimately, that’s what it’s all about. We worked incredibly hard on both albums (self-produced, recorded, mixed, designed and managed) and are truly grateful for the experience. But as the saying goes, all good things come to end. Each of us have grown, developed new passions and have new goals and dreams to fulfill. Collectively, we’ve decided to move on and pursue those ventures. Before closing the proverbial curtain, we will celebrate our accomplishments and 10 years together with one more bash, our last hurrah. Where else but at the Townehouse, of course! We hope you will be there on Saturday, October 19 to party with us. We will perform an unplugged/acoustic set featuring tracks off of Risen, followed by our usual heavy set. Plus we’ll have TONS of merch to liquidate (tees for guys and gals plus loads of CDs), so bring some extra cash! At $5 a pop while quantities last, we’ll have you pimped in Apparatus gear in no time. We are sincerely grateful to our friends, family, fans, local venues and shops for your incredible support over the last decade. We can’t thank you enough. You rock!
