Dont worry about Donny and Lawrie, they will be continuing their catering business - so all will be well. If youve got catering needs, definitely contact them! Now on to the other part of this message, which is more directly concerning to me and perhaps to many of you... The open mic WILL NOT end. It will continue unabated on tuesday nights from 7-10pm, but the venue WILL CHANGE. ...to Rebel Bite... Thats right, the open mic Ive thought of as a second home for the last several years will be coming home itself, to the same exact location where it began so many years ago (about 4 years now). Back then, the place was called Pizza Pi and had a different owner and a different menu. I started out as just a spectator. Many things have changed in the intervening years, but the one thing that has not changed is the spirit of the community. The last official Shillelagh Open Mic is this coming Tuesday August 12th.
