The first thing I have noticed (compare to the previous 2 games), Shakes keeps a strong and energetic bench when playing away but uses all his fire power when playing home. The selection of Meyiwa is an easy one at the moment. When Congo played Nigeria, Prince (RB) did push forward at all, the job was done by Bifouma (RM) a very strong and skillful player. Matlaba would have to force him to stay back. Mathoho&Coetzee selection is very adventurous but the coach saw them training together and liked it. They will face a vet mobile Congolese attack made off Babele supported by Foude and Gawdze. The maturity of Hlatshwayo will be usefull is making numbers in the center when needed. Furman will sacrifice offensive moves to stay deep allowing Jali to play as the transition player. Litingui&Bissiki to offer that for les Diables Rouge. As long as Masango&Serero do the work upfield to protect the team (as the 1st line of defense) Congo wont trouble at all. Rantie will run with the ball attacking Nganga& Mumbio at Congos back line, allow Ndulula to be the target man. SA bench is balanced and strong. If Shakes need to lock the score, he can bring Mashamaite and Yeye. If he wants goals, he has Vilakazi. Strong bench is always needed & important for an away games. This is an important game but the crucial one is on Wednesday.
