IMPORTANT NOTICE! We apologize for any confusion or concern regarding the recent cancellation of several events. Dont be alarmed: The only events being cancelled are those that have already taken place in 2009-2010. EXPLANATION: Facebook has suddenly started limiting the number of people we can invite to our events. It seems the only way to get around this is to fool the algorithm calculated by their computers. Part of this process requires eliminating past events with a very low response rate, and the only way to do this is to actually cancel them. Its crazy and ridiculous and incredibly annoying. :/ REQUEST: If you receive an invitation to our events, would you kindly respond with either yes or maybe? We wont take it personally if you dont attend – but your positive response will tell FBs computer that the people we invite are at least interested in our events.
