IMPORTANT Voting News! The State Proposal about Smart Schools is on the Nov. 4th Ballot for YOUR vote! You may want to think about this one before voting. I found out more info on this and would like to share it with you. Though the Proposal looks to be a great idea for our Schools across the State you should understand that selling Bonds will create a LONG TERM DEBT for us, that we will be paying for quite a while, and I understand the State is running a surplus right now (that means we have a lot of tax dollars we are not using). So, do we want to pay on credit for technology that will be obsolete by the time we pay this off, or be fiscally responsible and work with what we have to apply the funds we have to the most important upgrades first. I also understand that most of this 2 Billion will be going to Schools downstate. So, this fiscally responsible Liberal will be voting NO on this one, and I urge you all to balance your pros and cons on this one before voting.
