IMPORTANT-over the last 15 years of being involved with so many families I have seen so many things and so much upset. I can honestly say hand on heart I am very passionate about what I do. I do it all in my own time and I never want anything from any of the families in return...over the years ive spent times laughing in the car with people who ive helped and they passed away.ive hugged loads who have smiled and recovered. sometimes the families are under so much pressure they ring me up in tears and seem to forget im only a lad who has a normal standard of life.people often say does it affect you.. my reply is for the families sake I cant afford for it to affect me because I need to pick them up when im spending time with them.i need to walk in a room and make them laugh.make them proud,make them feel fantastic.. im healthy ive no right to moan or worry.over the years ive trained my brain to shut off and get on with what needs doing..! its my hobby and its one hell of a hobby to have.. ive met so many lovely people and seen so many things the upset comes in my own time as I have no right to share it with anyone other than myself.. theres nothing better than seeing a person SMILE x
