IN EVERYTHING GIVE GOD THANKS. ( 1 Thess. 5:18). I have come to understand that they is absolutely nothing happen without Gods knowledge or permision. In every situation we find ourselves, there is something to thank God for. If you have a problem God is the reason why it is not worse than it is. I was angry that I did not wake up on time one morning as I should. Before the devil could use it against me, I realized that my own issue was that I didnt wake up on time to pray whereas there were those who didnt wake up at all that day. They slept and died. I also realized that, whereas was angry that I overselpt, there are those who can pay any amount to be able to have a good sweet sleep at night, yet sleep is not forth coming. The situation may be bad but but it is never totally bad. Dont be angry with God because job has not come only thank him because He is bringing one on your way. Gods servant, Pastor E. A. Adeboye, told the story of a man who was dancing and jubilating on the highway of Lagos after armed robbers snatched his car. When asked the reason behind his action he said: (1). I thank God that it was my car they took and not my life. (2). I thank God that I have something good enough for anybody to want to steal. Some people dont. (3). I thank Go that I am not the one who stole. I am the one they stole from. When a mentality! Many times, the enemy keeps our eyes on the problem, which makes us unable to see Gods goodness. If you can learn to give thanks in everything, I.e. to see reason for thanksgiving in everything, then you will frustrate the agenda of the devil and provoke Gods counsel in your life. Note; if you have a problem, God is the reason why it is not worse than it is.
