IN GIRL TALK: I would like you to find me some piece of advices from your listeners Am 26 years, i have no place to call home or family. Since the death of my parents, i have been a wanderer moving from one friend to another for accommodation and food. I never met any of my mums relatives before she died, dad had another woman and kids. Sadly in 2002, dad passed away but his landlady offered to help with my studies since she didn’t have any children. She took care of me till university. She started falling sick and was now aging. Some of her relatives thought that she could die and leave some property for me to inherit since i had been living with her for a long time. So they started making life again hard for me and i had nothing to do. The landlady (Maria) got a stroke and she couldnt move. One time i came back from campus and found they had taken her for proper care and treatment since i was always away at school. Whenever i called her phone, some relative could pick and tell me, Mrs Maria can’t talk. They would give all sorts of excuses whenever i asked to see her. The statehouse had been paying my tuition but accommodation and food were my major problems while at campus and still are my problems now. After my graduation, i went back to the village to talk to my relatives to atleast allow me to stay in dads house as i looked for a job. I went to my paternal aunt s home who had been very kind to us and found out everything that belonged to my grandparents and dad had been sold off.. I am still trying to find any descent work that i can do but i got nothing yet, I want to quit the fight coz i have lost hope. My relatives threatened to hurt my aunts family if i ever decide to take legal action against them. They accuse her of trying to help me and besides, am just one person against a family so am sure i wouldn’t win them in court.. I will account on your advice. Thank you very much. Call me Lynn
