IN MY OPINION... Why learn to sail? Sailing is not a necessity. But it can be a whole lot of fun. LTS Like skiing and snowboarding sailing is becoming a great family activity. KEN DAUGHTER AT THE WHEEL Many of us old timers in the National Brotherhood Of Skiers put our children, and now grandchildren, in ski school as soon as they could walk. Skiing thus became a great black family vacation for more than thirty five years. Thanks you Mr. Finley and Mr. Clay for that. Now some of us, like my friend and BBS Captain Ken, in the photo above, are taking our children on exciting bare boat sailing trips. How does a teen say no to dad’s all expenses paid sailing vacation on a yacht in the Caribbean. Learning to sail is not gender specific nor do you need to know how to swim or be wealthy.
