IN RE: UKRAINE, PUTIN, THE INTELLECTUAL LEFT, ETC.: Its simple for all of you revolutionaries out there - parse the intentions of the players (Putin is a neo-capitalist who wants to build a new Russian empire, etc., etc.), or decide where the interests of those you claim to speak for lie. In this case, the possibility of successful revolution - and the maintenance of a few that have already happened and are under siege (e.g., Cuba, Venezuela, Zimbabwe, Nicaragua, Ecuador, Bolivia, etc.) - require stopping NATOs expansion into Ukraine dead in its tracks. The ivory tower idiots who parse revolutionary ideological trends completely decontextualized from the power relations in the world are of no use to anyone but the enemies of revolution.
