IN RIVERS STATE, APC IS A MOVEMENT By Kenedy Friday. When the Governor of governors asked Rivers people to join the All Progressives Congress, APC, I asked myself, can our make this party more than a political party? Can he make APC a movement? Today, I got my answer, and its in the affirmative! Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi has done it. He has turned Rivers APC into an unstoppable movement sooner than I anticipated. Today, I am a witness, a living witness to history, to a movement, to a silent revolution happening in Rivers State of Nigeria. The people of Rivers State woke up today as early as 2:AM, and made all the roads busy. They were heading to Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Greater Port Harcourt, a brand new 40,000 capacity sports facility built by Amaechi to be part of the historic mega rally of the Rivers APC. I started driving from Bori to PH exactly by 4:00 AM, and that early, the Bori-PH Road was already jam packed with buses and vehicle conveying enthusiastic Rivers people shouting, APC!!!! CHANGE!!!!!!!! Men, women, boys, girls, all eager, all willing, and ready to be part of the peoples revolution determined to bring change to Nigeria! Port Harcourt is agog right now. I have seen enough this morning to convince me that Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi has engineered the APC into a movement. Indeed, in Rivers State, APC is more than a political party, its a movement. Tighten your seat belt therefore, and be ready for the tornado!
