IN SEARCH OF Tall, sturdy, well-trained mustang gelding (big enough to comfortably carry a man of 62, 195 lbs.), ideally 6-12 years old, barefoot or can easily go barefoot, totally sound and good turned out with other horses (not aggressive). This horse will have a wonderful life in a knowledgeable, loving, forever home with a life-long professional equestrian, though he will be mainly for my husband, who is a relative beginner. My husband had some riding training as a teenager but hasnt ridden much since, so this horse needs to have good manners, not mind if someone isnt perfect in the saddle, and should have easy-to-ride gaits. No slow-and-pokey types, though, as my own horse really moves out and a slow poke wont be able to keep up with his steppy TWH walk! We are in Reno, so close by would be great, though we are willing to travel some for the right horse. If you have a special boy you need to rehome/sell or know someone who does, please get in touch.
