IN THEIR SIMPLICITY (4) "And with Absalom went two hundred men out of Jerusalem, that were called; and they went in their simplicity, and they knew not any thing." 2 Samuel 15:11 "My people have been lost sheep. Their shepherds have led them astray; They have turned them away on the mountains. They have gone from mountain to hill; They have forgotten their resting place." Jeremiah 50:6 NKJV There is no excuse in heaven that you were misled by your pastors because we all have access to the bible. The bible says, “They searched the Scriptures daily whether those things were so.” Looking at the situation of things, one can see that it is not every word one hears from the pulpit that is actually from God. “For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.” II Corinthians 11:13-15 NIV. That is the reason God asked us to test every spirit to know if they are actually from him I John 4:1. Not every word from the pulpit is meant for your consumption. Whenever you are in the gathering of the children of God, make sure you always place filter in your ears to filter every word you hear. “Is it not the task of the ear to discriminate between [wise and unwise] words, just as the mouth distinguishes [between desirable and undesirable] food?” Job 12:11 Amp. Don’t be too simple to believe every word you hear. You will succeed in Jesus name. Like our page: fb/springofknowledge Feel free to share.
