INCIDENT CALL | At 7:30pm, crews from Cooranbong Rural Fire Brigade, Dora Creek Rural Fire Brigade, Mandalong Rural Fire Brigade, Dooralong Rural Fire Brigade, Awaba Fire Brigade, Wyee Point Rural Fire Brigade, Warnervale Rural Fire Brigade, Mannering Park Rural Fire Brigade, Cameron Park Rural Fire Brigade, Wyee Rural Fire Brigade and Wallarah Rural Fire Brigade with Morisset Fire Station 383 and Hazmat 260 (Newcastle) were called to a large structural fire in Mandalong. During the peak of the incident there were over 20 fire trucks and over 60 personnel on scene. Thank you to the crews who responded, the Fire and Rescue NSW crews who were stood up to cover our region, the motorists who gave way to the dozens of responding emergency vehicles and to residents who were understanding whilst listening to the seemingly unending stream of sirens racing through our town.
